Country Information
Morocco is colorful and mysterious country that boasts some of the world's most legendary cities, including Casablanca, Tangier, and Marrakech, and is home to the Straits of Gibraltar. In addition, Morocco is a country determined to protect its rich cultural identity while taking its place in the modern world economy. Morocco is the fifth largest economic power in Africa and the world's largest exporter of phosphates. Tourism also plays an important role in Morocco's economy. But it's Morocco's growing automotive and electronics industries that make the country a robust environment for Delphi Morocco. With the largest port in Africa planned in Tangier, the future appears bright for Moroccan industry.
Delphi Presence
Delphi established a presence in Morocco in 1999, and has been proud to be part of that nation's recent economic growth. Delphi facilities in Morocco produce wiring harnesses for use in Delphi electrical/electronic architecture programs.
Career Opportunities
With a second facility scheduled to open in 2008, potential positions at Delphi Morocco will focus on high-tech and engineering/manufacturing positions, particularly those candidates experienced with wiring harness production and quality control.
