Product Engineer
Qualifications include a four-year technical degree; computer competency in Windows Excel spreadsheet; ability to read and understand Engineering prints/drawings, high level of analytical skills; good interpersonal skills; good oral and written communication skills
Major Job Responsibilities
- Conduct and champion design related cost reduction activities; coordinate meetings and activities, conduct verification testing, communicate with product groups, follow change procedures
- Institute problem solving strategies, facilitate quality issues, review and approve inspection reports and report out at meetings as necessary
- Design validate and release engineering drawings that meet customer requirements
- Issue and follow all necessary reports for MDCA's (design changes), engineering permits, verification testing, product change methodology sheets and product/material specification changes
Industrial Engineer
Qualifications include a four-year degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering; ability to analyze complex issues and develop logical corrective action approaches; ability to work with minimal direction; demonstrated ability to lead and facilitate teams; good oral, written communication, and presentation skills
Major Job Responsibilities
- Implement lean manufacturing methodologies and Delphi Manufacturing System methodologies
- Optimize operator methods, workplace layouts and material flow
- Lead and facilitate Delphi Ergonomic program and procedure activities
- Understand and lead health and safety requirements
- Identify and solve manufacturing operating performance problems
- Conduct special studies and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Analyze/develop complex manufacturing systems, including material flow and parts presentation
- Maintain focus on cost reduction and quality enhancement
- Measure and report equipment capacity levels
- Team member in developing manufacturing systems or new and/or major product changes
Manufacturing Engineer
Qualifications include a four-year technical degree; working knowledge of machine, tool, and die design; working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical controls; high level of analytical skills; good interpersonal and computer skills; good oral and written communication skills
Major Job Responsibilities
- Specify, develop, validate and install new equipment and tools
- Communicate will all stakeholders, supervisors, engineers, and skilled trades to meet customer needs
- Lead the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes for an assigned area
